Thank you for your post, Catherine :) . I am sending you a msg off list,
too, but what I really :)  wanted to know was this:

What are the possible *negative effects* of frenotomy?

All I could think of was the pain for the baby, and bleeding if one has
shaky hands. Anything else? The hospital pedi said they don't do it anymore
since clipping the frenulum is more harmful than beneficial.
