Re: World Breastfeeding Week


Three of our major book stores in town have committed to displaying a poster that has been developed
by our affiliate. They will either display it next to their books and materials
relating to breastfeeding and parenting or have individual table displays set up.

I have also received committment from one of our local TV stations
to use the PSA that was developed by one of the breast pump companies.

Both of these world breastfeeding week activities are being sponsored by
the 3 LC's,WIC and La Leche league

Hi Fellow Lactnetters-

I am interested to have input from any and all of you about what is being
done in your area to mark World Breastfeeding Week. I have been impressed
with information in the JHL and Globe about the creative activities that
have been undertaken in the past, and I'm wondering what is being planned
this year. We can all learn from each other.
