As much as I think that certain people have great insight into specific
areas related to our field, that the thought of ONE to lead the pack can
backfire. What I have seen over the years is that it is an evolving
process. Chris (cck is a valuable piece of info for all) and her
contribution to a new level of understanding with CCK will and should
lead to other new theories. As a new hypothesis is presented the other
players should take that material and test, analyze and adapt using the
new material as a building block. Remember, that when we work with a
mother and her infant there are many individual factors at play. When I
first started in this field, tested in 1985, the gurus I followed with
awe and adoration are still around, but others are now sharing their
knowledge and expertise and our profession is continuing to blossom due
to this evolving process. Sorry, I guess I needed to let all you
lactnetters know how valuable your thoughts and questions are to me and
others, that we all have something valuable to share.
