We wear business casual for the most part. No lab coat. I would probably die if they made me wear scrubs. We wear name tags and another tag with a large "RN" on it, so people know we are nurses. The "RN" designation is a hospital wide policy, every employee has one saying what they are. Charge nurses have one that says "Charge RN". Any employee or volunteer that can handle babies has a blue nametag, whereas all the other areas have white. For security parents are taught only to let someone with a blue picture name tag handle their baby.

I may live dangerously, but infant body fluids have rarely been a problem clothes.
