Yesterday I responded to Shannon Thomas about lactation help in India.  I've since checked the BPNI website (Breastfeeding *Promotion* Network of India). If you go to the URL below you can find the web page with contact details. The URL, below, has the details for the state of Uttar Pradesh, but there is a list of *all* states -  just click on the state where your friend lives and a list of city or state coordinators will appear.

If you then go to the home page, you will find it has buttons for heaps of good information of relevance to mothrers and babies in India, as well as links.  This information may be of use to other Lactnetters looking for good BF sites.
