<<She began BF today but got the same result, gas, fussy, pulling away
and diarrhea. Pumped milk was no different. She understands the gut
was extremely compromised and needs to heal. What can she do besides
pump to maintain supply and get this baby back to breast? Thanks for
your help.

Sounds like baby wasn't intolerant of any proteins being passed through
her milk , but now, b/c of the gut damage from the abx, something in her
diet is bothering him. Like the other mom, i'd encourage her to go to
the basic diet, then work from there.

Probiotics can help repopulate the gut, L-gluatamine can speed healing,
enzymes may help but as I said, I'm not at all convinced that this would
break down proteins enough to make them not problematic in a sensitive
baby.
