So sorry Pam.  This is my fear when I have grandchildren!  Because I have
all boys!  I think you are doing the best you can, and they have to do what
they feel is right.  I would just try not to take anything personally.  Just
continue to offer your love and support and guidance, and if they get
frustrated with you, understand that they are also overwhelmed and confused
and going through a huge transition and you are probably just an easy
target.  So, I would just put on my raincoat and keep being there for them
as they allow and want you to, and don't let it get to you.  Listen to them,
be there for them, reflect back to them what you are hearing them say, and
then make suggestions sandwiched between expressions of encouragement, love,
and support.  That's what I would do if it were my daughter.
