An anesthesiologist overheard and said that epidurals are the way

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't that adrenaline necessary to make the
baby wide eyed and alert (as well as mom), so that bonding can take place as
well as imprinting? And if baby is very alert then it seems that baby would
be more inclined to vigorously suckle.

Seems to me this person needs a lesson in the chemical symphony of birth.

Also, I believe one of the first drugs given to a compromised baby *is*
adrenaline......oy vey I could go on and on....

I shake my head at the level of knowledge of *some* people have that are
actually helping babies into this world.
