I am still gathering details in this scenario but was recently made aware
of a mom who delivered 26 week preemie who opted to take domperidone to
help increase her milk supply. Within a short time after starting it she
had 4 grand mal seizures for which she was hospitalized. A number of tests
were run and they were all negative. Domperidone is being blamed for the
seizures. The physician who prescribed it told me that they would not be
ordering it again due to the above.
According to the literature seizures are a possible but rare side effect.
My question to the group, has anyone else run into this experience?
