lot of sense.  Will try again...

Responding to the post on the little girl who hummed to make the milk come
down - used as an example of  "superstitious" behavior on the part of the
child - how do we know this is cannot be explained?  Maybe the vibrations of
her humming stimulated the MER.  Maybe her mother became conditioned to let
down when she heard the girl hum ( an auditory cue).  Maybe both.
