I think it is completely reasonable to use a bottle in a paced fashion to supplement a baby using a nipple shield, and most other babies needing supplementation beyond the hospital stay, really.


Pacing is the key...and using a "traditional" nipple shape-- not NUK or "looks like a breast" shape, in my opinion.
