Valium L3, some reports of lethargy, sedation, poor suckling
Ambien L# AAP usually compatible with BF.
Valerian root is also L3
I think a lot depends on the age of the baby.  Hale mentions use of 
sedatives are problematic for nursing mothers, generally discouraged, due to 
posible risk of SIDS.
Can mom  cut caffeine out of diet?  Warm milk for mom at bedtime, no 
exercise in evening, cut down on TV viewing?  Pat in SNJ
