This is the link to WIC Standards.  Scroll to page 11 for the beginning of
info on staff requirements and responsibilities, including Breastfeeding
Coordinators.

This discussion has given all of us an opportunity to learn more about the
regulations for WIC in the USA.  However, I fear that it is on-the-edge of
being a strictly personal rant about a job opportunity that was lost.  We
cannot do anything to help in the individual situation that was described at
the start of this thread, except to sympathize that the world is, indeed, an
unfair place sometimes.
