With all respect to Drs. Gartner and Auerbach, I think heat treating
milk is not a good idea.  There is no need to treat "breastmilk
jaundice" either with heat treated breastmilk, formula or witchcraft
(taking the baby off the breast).  There is no evidence that
"breastmilk jaundice" does any harm to the baby at all.
