Our hospital is also "demerol free", using it only when mom cannot take any
other pain meds. Mostly we use morphine and toradol for first day c/section
moms, then percocet/motrin for 2nd day and mom's who deliver vaginally (getting
fewer and fewer at our place). I actually prefer toradol to the morphine and
