We do our best to monitor such discussions, and we do appreciate people
following the guidelines. We also are aware that sometimes these
discussions take on a life of their own rather quickly and we are happy when
people get back on track.

I would also like to make a gentle reminder that the list mothers are
volunteers with jobs, families and responsibilities and are not always
available to redirect discussions as quickly as some would like. Currently,
two of the list mothers are away from their home countries on
business/pleasure travel. The two left at home are on 12 hour opposite time
frames (Australia and America) and find it difficult to connect.

I rise before 6:00 am every day, get three children on three different
school buses, then go teach other peoples' children all day, getting home
only to shuttle those same three children to their activities, and do my own
graduate school homework (yes, I know, poor me...). Karleen, Rachel and
Kathleen have similar commitments.

We would greatly appreciate patience as we try to meet everyone's needs. It
would very helpful, and would free up more time to address other issues, if
you all would take care of your own list management. The directions to go
no mail, unsubscribe, etc. are on the bottom of every Lactnet post and in
the Welcome note you all received upon subscribing. We get many, many
requests for help going no mail and changing addresses and it takes time to
answer all of those requests.

Thanks for your understanding.

Kathy
