Kathy and Co: I know we're on the same side of this, but to refresh some
people's memory..."Baby formula contributes to a large percent of
SIDS--diabetes--leukemia, etc" is what I've started saying since retiring
as a LLL (and no longer walking on the requisite eggshells of diplomacy).
Ha--now if that doesn't get somebody started nothing will. Those of you
who know me will probably think "ah...she's feeling better." I have had
many a pediatrician question the fact that I've chosen an altered
immunization schedule after my second son convulsed following vaccination;
and few peds have ever thought to edit their comments to anything more
sensitive than "Not immunizing at 2, 4, and 6 months is going to kill your
baby." The fact of the matter is even though my PhD is in public health,
I have come to see the light that the US immunization schedule may be
harming our children (see recent studies of pancreatic damage leading to
juvenile diabetes; brain stem swelling leading to autism/ADHD; etc...).

As I've said before, we need to start educating both professionals and the
public as to the true meaning of RELATIVE RISKS and attributable risk.
ILCA's statement on the Hazards of Infant Formula does this very nicely
with accurate references. I highly recommend that we buy these and
distribute them (they are copyright protected so you can't photocopy them).
:)
'Glad to be back and thanks for the encouragement from all of you!
Chris
