Great question, Ann,

I have to confess that I am the queen of cheap, and one of the things I
dislike about niche marketing is how mothers are targeted to believe they
have to have nursing bras, the more expensive the better. Many moms do fine
with sports bras, or a slightly larger bra than what they wore
pre-lactation. I think it is outrageous to spend a lot of money for a
nursing bra (unless maybe one is a HH). Breastfeeding is supposed to save
money. I always suggest that moms wait to see what size they turn out to be
after the first few weeks postpartum before they shell out a lot of money.
If they need to buy larger bras during pregnancy, there are inexpensive
nursing bras at US discount stores. Mine are 17 years old and still haven't
worn out, LOL.

Just my .02,
