Erin's description of why breastfeeding is sexy is so good!  And Magda is
so right, too, when she says that on a deeply personal level, the health
benefits are secondary.

Yep, as the song says, it makes you feel like a natural woman....we are
sexual, erotic beings, and breastfeeding puts sex in its widest, most
human, most earthy, most loving context.

Isn't so *sad* that so many of our sisters worldwide never know this - or
try it, and find that it fails to fulfill its promise because crazy
institutionalised practices mess it up? No wonder women who try and 'fail'
at bf sometimes get so angry when they hear 'breast is best'.

In a class, I search for ways of saying how fantastic bf makes you feel as
a woman, a mother, a partner, without sounding OTT...I talk about 'sense of
achievement' and 'feeling proud' and thinking' this baby's health is all my
own work'...but it doesn't come close to what I really feel. It's probably
good I restrain myself, as the men in white coats might have to collect me
: )
