I had a note back from CDC today saying there is no contraindication to BF
before or after the oral polio vaccine. The writer said there was a number
of ref to back it up.  Acta Ped Scan 79 (12):1137-42, 1990 Dec. was one
abstract available on -line.

This is, of course, academic in US, as all polio vaccine is now given by
injection.  But  if this incorrect info spread in other parts of the world
it could cause problems for either BF or for polio vaccine.  I can just
hear Drs advising mothers to wean so their baby could get polio vaccine!
