What blood sugar levels are currently being used as the acceptable benchmark in your facility as an evidence-based level  of acceptable blood glucose for newly born infants in the first few days post birth? Please cite study as well ...I am curious, and also curious how many heel sticks asymptomatic healthy babies are subjected tif their levels remain  at 40 or above , and who are without symptoms of hypoglycemia, feeding well and nor lag or sga?
