Maybe they suggested this only because they realize not everyone will
have lansinoh or purelan before delivering (like not everyone will buy
their newborn diapers until a few weeks before they deliver)?  I don't
know.

I have a form of blistex which says it is "natural", with shea butter,
avocado oil, cocoa butter (etc.) and when I was in a tough pinch once I
did use it.  But not on any regular basis...
