Have any of you seen the newest Gerber product? A gel patch for nipple
healing, with packaging similar to Soothies. It does not list ingredients,
makes a claim to be bacteriostatic but must be thrown away 4 hours after
opening the package, is backed by a non-removeable plastic sheet, and
crumbles with the slightest touch. This last part worries me the most, as
just rubbing the patch had my fingers covered with little tiny balls of this
gel. I'll be emailing Gerber with questions about safety issues like infant
ingestion or inhalation of this gel, as well as ingredients and research
backing. UGH. We found them at Babies-R-Us.
