I just breastfed and didn't get periods for 22 mo and 23 mo respectively. My 
neighbor used to say, just think what I was saving on Kotek :-)  And at 
those ages they weren't nursing like little babies, only 2-3 times a day. 
I think some people's hormones are more responsive to/suppressed by 
breastfeeding.  Pat in SNJ
