Dear Lactnet friends:
I was at my chiropractor this morning, and we were discussing a friend of hers
who had low milk supply issues. She had a question for me that I didn't know
the answer to. This friend had been advised by her doctor not to use
fenugreek to boost supply, since she was hypothyroid and use of fenugreek
put her at increased risk of developing lupus. I have never heard of this, but I
said that if there was any evidence to support this that someone in the
lactnet community would know about it. Has anyone heard this?

thanks in advance, Doreen Vanderstoep, RN, IBCLC
