Another aspect that might add to the mother of a 3 month old's panic at
"disappearing milk" may be the growth charts.  We know this is the age
when breastfed infants typically start slowing down on their weight
gains, while the artificially fed infants keep on growing in the
"normal" range for the commonly used growth charts so kindly provided
by the formula industry.
