I just wanted to let all of you know that the ILCA Board of Directors has
created a new sub-committee on Third Party Reimbursement and reappointed me
as chair of that committee. It is an honor for me to serve the ILCA
membership in this capacity once again. Exciting projects are in planning
including some educational seminars regarding the practical aspects of
coding, submitting claims and negotiating contracts with HMOs.

If any of you are interested in Third Party Reimbursement committee work, I
would welcome your CV or resume and your input. Please bear in mind that this
is a working position as we intend to implement the TPR strategic plan fully
and as quickly as possible.

Two questions I have for you all: 1. What is the number one issue you think
needs addressed by the committee regarding third party reimbursement? 2. What
are the international third party reimbursement issues those of you face who
practice in other countries?
