Dear Friends:
Norma asks for the one perfect video to inspire and show breastfeeding.
I doubt there is such a thing, as there are so many different kinds of
mothers.
The question made me think of Amy Spangler's film, from about 10 years
ago.It was 3 minutes long, no words, only beautiful music that stirred
emotions. The film was a collection of fabulous photographs of parents and children
from all around the world. About half of the photographs were of nursing
babies.
I think that this film would inspire and attract; there is such love
radiating from every picture, whether it be of a smiling dad and shy toddler, or
a robust little baby grinning up at mom.
For the life of me, I can't remember the name of it, although I have it
in my collection somewhere........I want to say "For their Eyes" but that
isn't quite right.
Anyway, I feel that such a film, if shown in a dim light (where people
can feel safer to connect with their feelings) would reach the most people. It
was also reasonably priced, $15.
    warmly,
