Dear Colleagues:

High praise to Medela for their quick action in taking a proactive stance on
this TV show !! I plan to call my local CBS station today - I have appeared on
their noon news show, so I hope they will remember me!

Is anyone else worried about the PSA stating that waiting 5 days before
assessing 3 BMs and 6 wets is ok? Doesn't the risk of dehydration start
before that?
I have seen babies with no BMs for 24 hours, and that high pitched, squealing
cry that signals dehydration (among other things) by day 2 1/2 to 3...
I usually look for 3-4 cottage cheese and mustard stools by day 4 and mom
reporting that milk volume is increasing by day 3/4.
I think day 3-4 would be a better parameter.
I was just wondering what you all think...

PS. The adopting/relac mom is just pumping and taking herbs and waiting for a
call back from Dr Craig's office.
