There is a committee that has been formed in SC partially because of this incident (It is the one pushing the bill.  The reading before the entire judiciary committee is this afternoon.)  You can read more about the group and the bill at http://www.scbac.org 

I heard on the news that some lawmakers are worried because something has been tacked on to the bill that would require employers to be more breastfeeding-friendly.  What a shame that would be!  Those poor employers...having to spend time and resources to accomodate moms for something so unnecessary as breastfeeding.  (/sarcasm)

I'm afraid an expose by Geraldo would make this whole campaign seem frivolous when it actually is a wonderful grass-roots effort that is finally seeing some results.  I hope that doesn't happen.  I attended a town-hall style meeting presented by this committee back in November and they are truly committed to protecting women, children, and the breastfeeding relationship.
