Dear Ann Perry and Kate Chalmers,

You may have worked with women in that part of the world but you perhaps
didn't understand that in that part of the world breastfeeding & child
rearing was considered to be a natural act till western influence misguided
and confused them.Thankfully in that part of the world, still large
majority of families live in areas where western educated experts have not
had their say in changing natural practices and those who unfortunately get
influenced still use common sense. It is better for them to be left alone
till they seek the so called expert advice. Please do a service to them,
who have landed out there from that part of the world by telling them how
wrong you were in imposing on them a wrong cultural practice in the first
place.

I was teaching medical students recently in this part of the world and some
of the women among them were surprised when I told them that incidence of
lactational failure is directly proportional to the level of education and
western influence. I have asked them to verify it themselves by observing
lesser endowed humans and the animal species. For those out there who do
not believe what I say, I invite them to this part of the world to observe
and learn what can be achieved by encouraging natural cultural practices
and how a whole nation can be made baby friendly.
