>Hi all,

Kathy, details of thrush in adults doesn't seem as available as infant thrush.
Is the pain you get 'all over' the mouth/tongue, or 'bumpy' painful
areas associated with what appear to be swollen tastebuds? I have recently
experienced this lasting over 2 weeks, not associated with antibiotics, and
no white patches. Do you think that thrush can be less obvious in the
adult mouth due to partial 'immunity'. It's interesting that the thrush
appears so rapidly after ingesting antibiotics - I wonder if some of what
we experience is an allergic reaction made worse by secondary thrush infection.
I'd like to know what others think. :)
