I believe LLL has done immeasurable good with regard to promoting
breastfeeding and supporting breastfeeding mothers. I also acknowledge
that a large percentage of what I know and teach about breastfeeding had
its start in LLL.

My main disagreement with LLL is that it has as one of its main belief a
philosophy of discipline which I cannot accept. (Please, I don't want
to start a discipline thread, as I think it would be inappropriate to
this forum. If you want to discuss this with me, please e-mail me
privately.) I contend that LLL would be more widely accepted if it
stuck to breastfeeding.

I hand out LLL fliers in all my classes. However, I feel that adding
what I consider non-BF issues to its agenda, LLL has limited the scope
of those whom it can serve.
