HELLP Syndrome is well recognizedn in the Obstetric literature (search the
Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American J of Obstetrics and
Gynecology or MEDLINE.  It is belived to be an extreme form of pre-eclampsia
with Hypertension, Elevated Liver enzymes, Low Platelets.  It is an indication
for immediate delivery.
There is NO reason why a mother cannot breastfeed her infant, or provide
breastmilk for her preterm infant, after delivery!!!!
