"I recently heard Barb Heiser of NABA speak about the ad campaign.
Apparently formula companies presented signed petitions from woman who felt
guilty for not breastfeeding.  She sent me the following E-mail
 NO it hasn't been stopped all together but each day it gets weaker.

 As many letters as possible and as fast as possible PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

**I heard Amy Spangler talk last Thursday and Friday.  If I am quoting her
correctly (& I think I am) she said two things:
    The ads are supposed to be released soon -- spring Vermont time (we were
in Vermont     where spring has not quite arrived).

    She also strongly advised folks NOT to be writing as the campaign IS
going to happen         and the office does not need any onslaught of e-mail nor
letters at this time.  Please do     not write as the office is weary from the
mail and not needed at this time.
