Not surprising in the least....why ever would we dream of trusting
doctors as a body to know what they are doing with regard to the
'need' for formula? We *know* that world-wide, the individual doctors
who understand the issues are exceptional.

I repeat: it was when infant feeding was taken out of the hands and
control of women and mothers, and commodified, in a system backed up
and encouraged by the medical profession, that we arrived at the
defensive, clearing-up-with-a-broom-after-the elephant-parade*
position we are in now.
