My current hospital does provide telephone calls to ALL within 48hrs of D/C
(9000+deliveries/yr) via a service we call "warmline". Patients are visited by
the warmline attendees p/t d/c , given a magnet with the phone # with the
option to call whenever.   IF the wl nurse detects a breastfdng issue, she
schedules them for a f/u visit in our brfdng outpt clinic.
WHO PAYS FOR THESE SERVICES???
