Subject: [LACTNET] Dr. Jack Newman's Visual Guide to Breastfeeding

**Hi Shannon,

I just got my copy of this video and all I can say is "wow." Very well
presented and informative. I would like to use this video in a breastfeeding
support group which I am currently trying to develop. In my area there are
no
breastfeeding support groups or classes to take. I deal primarily with
military
families, so this will be a voluntary and free support group. Does anyone
know
who I would talk to in order to get permission to use this video in a
support
group setting? I went to his website but it is under construction.

**I reckon you don't need permission to use it. Jack is very generous when
it comes to sharing his video material. Several of his clips were uploaded
on the biggest Dutch breastfeeding site and on the Dutch lc professional
organisation. I'll admit that I don't know if they had to pay to do that,
but in general, I think Jack is mainly interested in getting his material to
breastfeeding mothers and hcp's.
Then again... I may be grossly uncommercial in thinking Jack would settle
for just spreading his material. :-) But hey... you bought the video, right?
Well, that should be permission in itself, shouldn't it? ;o))

Kindly,

Marianne Vanderveen, Netherlands
