I wanted to point out for those who have not seen them, that the 
formula-company vitamins loaded with sugar and artificial colors are 
*not* the only option for babies who are deficient.

  I can, as an individual consumer (i.e. not a wholesaler or hcp) easily 
order emulsions of A, D, and K, which contain only the vitamin and an 
emulsifier.  I do give my kids daily D, because I was tested and found 
to be pretty good for an American in my latitude, but still low.

The additives and other "junk" were the main reason I didn't supplement 
my first child until a few years ago.
