Dee's discussion of hemifacial microsomia reminded me of another
condition - hemifacial MACROsomia. (caps for emphasis). It is similar,
but one side of the face is overgrown rather than one side being
undergrown. Surgery is usually performed early to trim the tissue on
the larger side.

Side to side asymmetries are usually a big red flag. Hope the docs are
taking this infant's features and oral motor dysfunction seriously to
get him (?) some help.
