Dear Marie,

This problem actually ties into another topic from last week. I never used
syntocin for letdown because of the rebound affect. The more you use it the
more you need to use it. Years ago I heard Dr. Neifert talk about using
syntocin for "hideous" engorgement. It really works well. I have found that
women who have had breast implants will have this tight engorgement that can not
be softened. Syntocin, three or four times works.

I was sorry to hear that it was not being made. Part of the problem is that it
had a short shelf life and I know I could not keep them in business. The
hospitals were the only ones who had it. We had one dr. who gave it to every
mother who gave birth "incase her milk would not come down for the baby", yuck!
Anyway maybe someone could figure out how they made it to tell a pharmacist. It
is just synthetic oxytocin.
