Jess, and anyone else, you have my permission to quote from this and my
previous post on this topic, as long as you include my name as the source.

It should be no problem for anyone to find out what kind of screening
potential milk donors go through, and have the same tests done through
one's own health care provider, as long as one is prepared to pay for the
lab work. As far as I can see, it's a practical hurdle and not an
insurmountable problem.  I am neither endorsing nor condemning the practice
of milk sharing and I don't think that providing information on testing
could in any way be construed as brokering.
