Well this one is a new one on me!  I betcha it is "Smart Parent" (which is
somewhere around here) re-written for the "non-religious" community.  (So
they can sell more).  I skimmed it -- the book is a yawner, and certainly
doesn't give any new insights on how to raise your preteen (it's for parents
of kids ages 8-12).  I'm sure the next book out will be "On Becoming
Teen-Wise" which will be the revamped version of their "Reaching the heart of
your teen" which is also a dreadful yawner, and has absolutely NOTHING useful
to say.  (At least since teens can feed themselves, they at least won't
suffer from FTT based on this book).
