3 day old, positive Coombs, ABO incompatibility, also facial bruising noted
in nurses notes at birth. Today bili is 20. BF fair to well (sleepy) and mom
can pump 3 oz with mini electric. Her milk is "in". I got her a classic and
double setup so she can express while bf is suspended.

Taking this baby off the breast is wrong.  Period.  This level of hyperbili
does not endanger a healthy full term baby.  The rate of rise does not sound
ominous and I suspect that this baby just needs to be nursed more often with
more frequent switching of breasts  (q5-7 minutes instead of 10-15 or
whatever she was doing)

The bili might be excreted more rapidly with formula (beta-gluc reasons) but
this is not necessary nor optimal care of a baby this age with bruising and
an ABO setup.
