I have written a booklet that deals with breastfeeding the baby with GER.
It is from a parents perspective. The goal is to provide support and
education to families dealing with this problem.
I am not a doctor or an accreditted LC. Just a LLLLeader and mom of a now
preschooler who has suffered from reflux since infancy.
I also have had a great deal of experience helping other parents of
children with reflux through a support group.
The booklet was scheduled to be published but is now on hold because the
Pediatric GI who was reviewing the booklet has said they disagree with
several aspects of the booklet.
If you have experience helping mothers breastfeed their babies with reflux,
would you consider reviewing this booklet for accuracy?
The mothers that I have supplied with the draft version have all been very
pleased and found it to be helpful. I hope to make it available to as many
women who need it, but only if it is accurate.
As I have donated my manuscript to the non-profit that will publish it
there would be no financial reward but you would certainly have my
gratitude.
Thanks!
