Regarding Rose's question re breastfeeding a 4 month old and being
pregnant with triplets....

I do not have any help or advice I could give you but last year I
supported a women to keep feeding her older baby ( 9 - 12 months) while
she was pregnant with triplets. The woman needed to be in hospital, or
in nearby accommodation for a considerable length of time as she lived
in a remote area. Her baby came with her and had a cot in her room.
The woman went on to deliver at 33 weeks and pumped for her triplets
while still feeding the one year old.

I don't know what the long term outcome was as they moved back to their
area once the babies were stronger.

The obstetric team were comfortable with this, but I am not sure this
would be the case for everyone. The risk of prem labour (and all the
morbidities that go with that) is high enough as it is.
