Thank you so much for the many kind notes you have sent me. John Carl
Lorick arrived at 6:47 Wednesday morning after 3 good pushes!  It was the
best birth experience I have had yet. We were in a lovely birthing center
type of environment. I had actually planned to have him in the birthing
tub, but we didn't make it in time :-)  My 10 yr. old daughter Sarah was
with us and had the privilege of seeing her youngest brother's birth. Now 2
1/2 days old, he is nursing beautifully and bringing lots of joy to all of
us.
Thank you again for your thoughful notes. I do feel a real kinship with you
and am proud to be part of such a terrific profession filled with caring
folks like you all.
