Jon:

dr hale indicates that this is an ace inhibitor "found in trace amounts in
breastmilk although no untoward effects have been reported. Enalapril is
metabolozed in 35-37 hours. He suggest exerciesing caution when
administering to lactating woman and observing the infant for hypotension and
bradycardia.

briggs has a mnuch longer piece ....they discuss actual cases...their
concultions is taht ingestion of enalapril and enalaprilat (metabalite) is
negligible and is probably clinically insignificant...

neither discusses afftest on mother's milk.
