If a breastfeeding baby with rotavirus suffers from secondary LI, how
does that baby process the lactose in breastmilk?

I've just been reading a book "Milk is Not for Every Body" by Carper. He
talks about "mother's milk" being the best suited for humans. The book
was published in 1994, I don't know if there's a more recent edition. He
writes about rotavirus and how breastfed babies are much less affected,
esp. under 6 months and that most babies aren't breastfed beyond that
age....so there is much more rotavirus after six months.
Someone posted to the list that even some breastfed babies have been
hospitalized with severe cases.
