Coming to this late, but just  to say that I know of  a mother in  the UK who  
is more or less paralysed from the neck down from  a violent attack who  
breastfed successfully, and have heard of  a paraplegic mother who  
extended  bf her children, so while she won't know for sure until she tries,  I 
think these mothers show what can happen
